nVenia Technical Bulletin – Hamer 540 Parts Change for Gear Reducer and Mounting Plate
Modern Ice recently encountered a problem while servicing a Hamer 540 FFS Machine in our Rebuild Shop. We discovered a Hamer 540 Parts Change for Gear Reducer and Mounting Plate – parts H3257-2 and H3308-1.
We have been informed by the manufacturer, that the mounting feet on the H3257-2 have been modified by nVenia’s supplier. They will no longer work with the H3308-1 Mounting Plate.
If you have already purchased an H3257-2, you will need to get the new mounting plates (Item #395069 – quantity two). Moving forward, the mounting plates will be included with the H3257-2 Gear Reducer.
We requested that nVenia create a service bulletin on the parts changes to ensure others are not presented with the same challenges we were. There is a link to the service bulletin below.
If you have any questions, need assistance with your Hamer equipment, or want to send equipment in for Modern Ice to rebuild, please contact us!
