Modern Ice offers a wide variety of used ice equipment for ice manufacturers. Our range of equipment includes ice making machines, bulk storage units, ice packaging and closing, ice handling, and a variety of other items.
Our used ice equipment is sold in three different conditions:
• Used
• Fixed Up
• Rebuilt / Remanufactured
USED items have had nothing done to them since acquisition and are sold AS IS per Modern Ice’s Used Equipment Agreement
FIXED UP items have been quickly checked and made to work and are sold AS IS per Modern Ice’s Used As-IS Agreement
REMANUFACTURED items are sold AS IS except all parts that were replaced in the rebuild carry a one year warranty (parts only – no labor or freight). Items not replaced or warranted in ice maker remanufacturing process are typically: Freezer, Frame, and Receiver. See Modern Ice’s Used AS-IS Agreement.

Modern Ice has worked with Ice Pro for many years for remanufacturing ice makers, so it just made sense to partner with them as our used equipment source.
The Modern Ice and Ice Pro partnership offers our clients high-quality used ice equipment options paired with Modern Ice’s experienced and knowledgeable Freeze Force and Engineering teams to properly integrate the equipment into plants and systems.
Ice Pro was founded in 1997 by Gary Bohannon after working in all phases of manufacturing, engineering, quality control, and supervision for 25 years at the Vogt factory. Their goal has been to establish long-term relationships with customers by offering quality remanufactured and used Vogt Tube-Ice machines to help them grow their ice business. They aim to help the small ice man grow his business and move up from small capacity ice machines to larger production Vogt industrial ice machines at an affordable cost.
