Matthiesen’s automatic wicketted bagger grabs the open bag which is filled with product and then conveyed to a closing device.

How It Works
Matthiesen Automatic Bulk Bagger’s opener uses a blower to open and position each wicketed bag for filling. Once the bag is properly positioned, the volumetric filler dispenses the selected amount of ice. Adjustable settings allow the machine to accommodate multiple bag sizes, while low-level detection and bag detection help maintain consistent operation and prevent product from being dispensed when a bag is not properly positioned.
After the bag is filled, the automatic bag takeoff transfers it from the bagger toward the closing equipment. The Bulk Bagger can be configured to work with several closure options, including ring bag, heat seal, Hamer 125, and Kwik Lok systems. A takeaway conveyor then moves the finished product toward the next stage of the packaging or stacking process.
