Matthiesen Bagger Take Off System
Bagging, sealing and stacking is a one man job with the fully automatic Matthiesen VL Bagger Takeoff System.
After bagging, bag is engaged by the air takeoff system by a gripper unit which pulls the bag through the Hamer 125 closing unit. The filled and closed bag is then moved for stacking by the conveyor.

How It Works
The Matthiesen Bagger Take-Off System automates the process of moving filled ice bags from the bagger through closing and onto the next stage of the packaging operation. The system combines a Matthiesen VLRW or VLSRW bagger with an air take-off system, Hamer 125 closing unit, and 510 belt conveyor to create a streamlined packaging process.
After the bagger fills each bag, the air take-off system uses a gripper unit to securely engage the filled bag and pull it through the Hamer 125 closing unit. This automated movement eliminates the need for an operator to manually transfer each filled bag between the bagger and closer, helping create a more continuous packaging process.
Once the bag is closed, the system transfers it onto the 510 belt conveyor, which moves the finished bag toward the stacking area or the next stage of the operation. By coordinating bagging, closing, and conveying equipment, the system can turn these processes into a one-person operation while helping improve packaging efficiency and consistency.
