How It Works
Matthiesen Belt Conveyors provide a continuous method for moving ice, packaged products, and other materials between different stages of an ice production or packaging operation. By creating a dedicated transport path between equipment and work areas, the conveyor can help reduce manual handling and keep product moving efficiently through the plant.
As product is placed onto the moving belt, the conveyor carries it at a consistent speed to the designated discharge point. Standard Matthiesen Belt Conveyors operate at approximately 60 to 62 feet per minute, with other speeds available to match the requirements of a specific application or production line.
