How It Works
Matthiesen Gravity Bins provide a simple way to temporarily hold and manage ice between the ice maker and bagging equipment. Instead of requiring a separate bulk storage bin, the gravity bin acts as a surge point that helps maintain a consistent supply of ice for the bagging process.
As ice is produced, it is transferred into the gravity bin, where it can accumulate until it is needed for packaging. The stored ice is then discharged from the bin into the bagging equipment, helping create a more consistent flow of product from the ice maker to the packaging line.
