Matthiesen Automatic Baler
Matthiesen’s Automatic Baler allows you the flexibility to bale various types and sizes of pre-packaged products into one easy to handle package.
Pre-packaged product is conveyed to the baler where it is then moved to a master bale, common width and variable length poly bag. Bale is placed in the proper position and conveyed to an optional ring bag or heatseal closure.

How It Works
The Matthiesen Automatic Baler takes pre-packaged ice bags and combines them into larger master bales for easier handling, storage, and distribution. Individual bags are conveyed into the baler, where they are grouped and transferred into a master poly bag with a common width and variable length. This allows multiple smaller packages to be consolidated into one easy-to-handle unit.
Once the appropriate number of bags has been collected, the baler positions the completed bale for closing. Depending on the configuration, the master bag can be finished with either a ring-bag closure or a heat-sealed closure. The automated process helps eliminate repetitive manual handling while creating consistently packaged bales for downstream handling and distribution.
