Matthiesen Heat Seal Bagger

The Matthiesen Automatic Heat Seal Bagger combines ice filling, bag handling, heat sealing, and conveying into one automated packaging process. Ice is fed into the bagger, where a volumetric filler measures and dispenses the product into a pre-positioned wicketed bag. An automatic bag opener helps position each bag for consistent filling, while variable-speed controls allow the system to adjust production to match the needs of the packaging line.

Once the bag is filled, an air take-off system engages the bag with a gripper unit and pulls it through the heat sealer. The sealer closes the bag, creating a finished package without the need for wire ties or manual sealing. The filled and sealed bag then moves onto a conveyor for stacking or transfer to the next stage of the operation.
